What
Kulttuuritalo Päiväkoti is a homely and unique combination of open work and residency spaces. The fabulous island of Hailuoto and the old wooden building welcome artists and creative professionals into our communal working spaces and atmosphere.
For whom
Artists and creative workers.
Where
Kulttuuritalo Päiväkoti is in the village centre of Hailuoto, in the middle of the island. The historically significant building was constructed in the 1930’s and previously it has functioned as an infirmary and meeting point for female volunters during the war and as a meeting place and a day nursery, hence the name “Päiväkoti”.

1 week – 1 month (Residency visits begin and end on Fridays).
Accomodation
The residence rooms Nokturni and Novelli are upstairs. Bathrooms and toilets in the hallway next to the rooms. A well-furnished kitchen, open workspaces, the sauna in a separate building and our Pelago-bikes are at the disposal for the residency guests.
