The private ARTBREAK artist residency offers international art professionals the Basecamp residency program. In the program, you can research and familiarize yourself with northern nature, history and culture for 1-2 months and network with art professionals in northern Finland. During the residency, there is also the opportunity to go on a guided nature trip and learn about northern environmental issues and livelihoods that depend on nature.
The shorter, approximately one-week-long Exploring Art in the North visiting program is aimed at curators and art professionals. The goal of the customized visit program is effective networking and the creation of new joint projects with art organizations and artists in the north of Finland.
